North Downs Family Mediation service is built on an ethos of accessibility, affordability and fairness ensuring every client is valued and treated with equal importance.

A pathway through the woods

01

Affordable fees and flexible appointments

We believe mediation should fit around real lives, and recognise that financial strain is often part of separation and divorce. We therefore offer affordable, competitive fees and flexible appointment times that are convenient for our clients. We are also part of the Government Mediation Voucher Scheme. This provides funding for families using mediation for issues relating to child arrangements.

Fully accredited and experienced mediators

With fully accredited and experienced mediators who genuinely listen, we provide a calm, confidential, and supportive space where separating couples can resolve disputes with dignity and respect. Our experienced mediators work with compassion, understanding, and efficiency, remaining impartial at all times while being responsive to each client’s individual circumstances.

We have an in depth understanding of all financial circumstances ranging from how best to share complex assets, to the situation where it is difficult to cover all needs with limited income and assets.

We specialise in helping parents focus on the needs and the interest of their children to minimise the effect of separation and divorce. We have an experienced Child Inclusive Mediator for situations where parents would like their children’s voices to be heard directly.

We have many years of experience of high-conflict mediation which often includes shuttle mediation when face to face communication is likely to be unproductive or unsafe.
